A new manuscript has been added to Archive’s collection of digital books. It’s long title is: An Historical and Architectural Description of the Priory Church of Bridlington, in the East Riding of the county of York. Written in 1831 by Marmaduke Prickett this manuscript provides a vivid historical rumination about the Church and includes several fine etchings of the various churches in East Riding, and of various architecture details of this specific priory church. But the value to genealogists comes in its multiple appendices of which you can find many details concerning Bridlington past residents.
